More information on the UsabilityCards method:

There are 57 game cards to lay out on the table to evaluate the website usability. The Cards have been based on actual experiences of website usage, each card represents a critical element which may cause a problem to users.

The method is made up of the manual ( in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format, contained in our exclusive 4 Gb Usb pendrive, compatible with iOs5 and Android devices) and a deck of 57 Usability Cards. Each card represents a critical element of the website (sections of the homepage, newsletter, background music, irritating adverts) to evaluate and discuss with the users.

How does the method work?

You will need:
– a website to analyze
– between 1 and 15 users to meet and involve in the game

The usability cards method is carried out by organizing single (one person only) or multiple (from 2 to 15 users) evaluations. You get the users together, the cards are given out on the table and a score is appointed to each card. By adding up the points attributed to each card, the Critical Elements Level will be obtained. The total sum of all the points gives the Perceived Usability Level.

If the users involved in this method are sincere and consistent, all of the information obtained from this test can determine the company’s success on the web!

By following the game the users involved in the test will say what they truly think of the website under examination.

By being aware of the critical elements you will obtain the corrections to carry out on the website in order to improve readability, increase visibility and give users a better browsing experience.

In what other ways can I use the usability cards?

– to plan targeted updates
– to increase the number of visitors
– to increase user loyalty
– to increase the time spent on the website
– to improve bounce rate
– to increase sales
– to increase indexing on search engines
– to collect useful elements to improve user’s browsing experience
